How to order a title search by fax or phone
Follow these steps for a smooth request:
- Decide which service you need, such as a title search, a property search, a current owner search, a closing or a collection placement.
- Gather the details listed below.
- Call the office or send your request to the 24-hour fax line.
- Include a return fax number so results can be faxed back to you.
- Watch for a call from us. If there is a problem with your search, you are told right away.
What to include in your request
These details are a helpful suggestion and will generally help the office work without delay:
- Property or parcel identification
- The names of the people involved
- The type of search you need
- Whether you need copies of documents
- Your return fax number
- Your name, company and a phone number

After you order
Title searches generally come back in 24 hours, and up to 72 hours depending on order volume at the time of order. See our page on turnaround time for details. Property searches and current owner searches also have a 24-hour turnaround.
Mortgage closings are handled by witnessing the signing, with papers signed and notarized the same day. Collection accounts are worked immediately and confirmed back to you in writing.
